Make a difference.

3. What inspired you to join the RCN?

Leadership. Opportunity to make a difference.

4. Which is your favourite ship?

All of them. Actually, friendship, leadership, relationships, partnerships, and then, all of the Navy ships.

5. What was your proudest moment as an RCN member? Proudest moment of RCN member?

Commanding a ship.

6. What would you say to someone that wants to join the RCN?

Hurry. You’ll never regret it.

7. What is the best thing about sailing with the Royal Canadian Navy?

Our sailors. Our People. Our leaders.

8. What is your priority as Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy?

Our people.

9. What are your hobbies?

Woodworking. Success after the weekend. Success!

10. What has been the most rewarding work experience of your career?

Deploying on Charlottetown as its ship’s captain.

11. If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would do?

Buy more tools.

12. Tell us an interesting fun fact about you?

I come from Alberta, a prairie province.
